Since I hardly find the time to post I've decided to set a goal for myself. I will post at least once a week with pictures of what has been happening.
This was Memorial Day. Obviously there was no school, so both girls were home. Later, after I got home from work I ran out to get them our personal favorite, Tropical Smoothie. Megan just got new furniture the Sunday before and I had yet to test out her new bed. So I grabbed my new iPad and jumped right in with her. Madison walked up and saw us both and said, "look at you two with your smoothies and iPads!"

We've had horrible weather this past week. Rain, storms, more rain, more storms. Here's the sky from my drive home on Tuesday.

My brother is working on Mackinac Island for the summer. I received my first ever package from the island! He was so sweet and sent me a birthday present. I received Skittles, Extra Gum, a little Mackinac horse, and some Mackinac fudge!! He included a note that said, "here's some sweet stuff cause I think you're pretty sweet!" We later skyped with him, so he could see me open it.

Megan had her last Field Day this past Friday. Of course it rained and we all had to go in, but the skies cleared up and we headed back out!

My cousin spent the weekend with us. She has been begging to go in the pool, but because it literally was just opened on Saturday it has fresh chlorine and other chemicals in it. It's a struggle to tell an 8 year old, "NO!"
