Well sad news first: Nolan's grandpa did pass away. His last breath was on Thursday, May 2nd at the age of 87. He was a wonderful, humble, no judgement kind of man. He will be greatly missed. Here is a picture of us after the funeral service at the luncheon.

Also, my Uncle has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Sadly, this was his own fault due to smoking. He has quit cold turkey. Now we pray that his road to recovery will be an easy one.

My car is driving me crazy! My low tire light came on a couple weeks ago and I also needed an oil change do they filled my tires then. The light never turned off and a few days later my dad noticed a nail in the front driver side tire. My boyfriend works at Discount Tire, so he took my car in and patched the hole. Well, the darn light came on again, yesterday on my way home from work. So Nolan started to check the PSI of 2 tires and he walked around to the other side of the car and it was obvious which tire was signaling the light to turn on. It was getting flatter by the second
:( So he'll take my tire in AGAIN and patch the hole. Love him for doing that for me!
So in the mean time, I've got this lovely thing on!

Last Thursday the Ice Cream Truck made its first appearance in the neighborhood. My sister Megan was too excited!

My dad was a Firefighter for Independence Fire Department for 25 years. He recently resigned due to some things that were going on around there, but it still brought me to tears that this part of his life has ended. He was truly a hero for many people. I will miss his stories, but I am so happy to have him home with us and not have to worry about him leaving for a run during dinner, family time, etc. He gave my sister and I his badge, Sergeant clip, and a key chain.
