All Different Things

This girl loves the car seat in my car! It's her own little head rest!

------------------------------------------------

My future car... Love this Jeep more than words can say!

------------------------------------------------

These 2 crack me up. I just wanted to get a pop out of the cabinet and they jump in. Most curious cats I've ever known!

------------------------------------------------

We gave in... One Christmas tree is up! No lights or ornaments are up yet. And clearly someone missed it! Kai also loved it but he didn't attempt to climb it like Maverick.

------------------------------------------------

My week started out GREAT! Minimal damage was done to my car, but that poor garage is another story...

Nolan and I received our first piece of mail!

Happy Friday!

Halloween and Hockey

I'm feeling the season a lot more than I remember. I'm so excited and can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas. But first I need to recap on Halloween.

I decorated a pumpkin this year! I haven't decorated or carved one in a long time. I found a super cute mummy kit at Target. We already had the pumpkin so I just stuck the deceptions on. Everything stuck on with double sided tape.

Of course Megan had to try out the eye balls...

A couple weeks before Halloween we got "booed." Our neighbor does this every year and the kids love it.

Here's our Boo bags. We ran to CVS and bought a bunch of cheap Halloween stuff to toss in the bag.

Including bouncy eye balls.. That Megan had to try out!

Nolan recently hurt himself at a hockey game. He was racing for the puck and slammed into the boards a little too hard. Needless to say, he ended up at Urgent Care. He sprained his rotator cuff, but thankfully is doing just fine.

He felt so special with a sling! Poor guy...

Detroit Tigers

I received a text message from my grandma at 2:30, for tickets to a 4:00 Tigers game. Mind you, the ballpark is 1 hour away. And... I was napping and didn't see the message until almost 3.

I was originally supposed to watch my Dad's dogs that evening, but fortunately I was able to go to the game instead. I ran to my Dad's to quickly feed the dogs and rushed back to my Mom's to pick up Nolan. It was probably 3:30 by this time.

Nolan, Megan and I all met my grandma at her house. We had to stop on our way to the game to get the tickets from her financial advisor. So now it was probably 4. She also needed gas badly otherwise we'd be on the side of the road and totally miss the game!

Finally we are back on the freeway. Nolan was checking in on the game through his phone... And you won't believe it... There was a delay in the game due to the lights turning off for an unknown reason at the time! Talk about the power of The Lord above!

Eventually we made it there around 5 and I think it was only the 4th inning, so we didn't miss much!

This place was CRAZY!

Gotta have those snacks! We totally missed dinner.

We had a great time. Unfortunately they lost, but all in all it was an awesome opportunity. None of us had been to a post season game before, so we were still fortunate to have been able to go.
