Christmas Part 4 (the final part)

Christmas Day started later than it has in the past and by late I mean 8am! My younger sisters no longer believe in Santa but of course it's still a huge excitement to see all the gifts under the tree and just want to open them!

So.. Up and at it at 8am! We had breakfast first. My mom makes a delicious egg bake (another future post to go along with the breakfast dishes we had at my Dad's) every Christmas morning.

After breakfast we opened gifts. I'll let the pictures do the talking :)

Here's the girls before the fun started!

Megan loves SpongeBob. She also loves the word "dude" and often uses it around her best friend, so her friend got one too!

Madison needs help with organization in her bedroom, so she was given a place to start.... Jewelry!

After we finished opening gifts, we relaxed as a family and watched a new movie called The Lucky One. Stephanie and I had to be to my dads by 3 so we could celebrate Christmas with his family, so we began to get ready once the movie was over.

We had Christmas with the Hardy side at my Aunt's house. We did lots of eating and talking. I really enjoyed myself as it was more relaxed than years past. The highlight of the evening was skyping my uncle not just once, but twice! We all miss him so much. It's been so strange between Thanksgiving and Christmas without him around.

Lauren (my 8 year old cousin) was very excited to open gifts. She had a little Santa's Secret Workshop at school and bought a few gifts from there. She had us all laughing. The thought she put behind each gift made them so special.

The rest of the evening we tried out some new 3D glasses... Pretty cool I must say! We had a wonderful time as a family.

I hope each of you had a blessed Holiday Break. Thanks so much for following me on my journey.
